Unfortunately this unit lasted maybe 4 or 5 playings. I was so desperate when I bought this..I had a 2 screaming toddlers in my van and out of town. Bought this yesterday. Charged for 4 hours and tried. Great picture. Sound could be a little louder on dvds but is louder on listening to cds. Only drawback is opening the dvd lid. It's a little tricky. Hope that the plastic latch does not break. Otherwise a great value.
