Sharp Aquos LC19D44U 19" 720p LCD HDTV
The picture quality is great on HD, but the sound is only fair. The audio comes out of small speakers pointed down out the bottom. The result is a "tin" sound. The volume has to be turned up fairly loud to hear it. The only audio out is via optical cable, so to hook it up to an external speaker would require an AV receiver. I ordered this 50"monstrosity, and I misread the description for it thinking it was an HD LCD TV. It has a great picture but when you try to view the screen from the side, it darkens. I'm noticing while brighter background colors are displayed, and the subject is darker I'm receiving faint gray horizontal lines on the brighter background.
