Defective product and terrible customer service
|
This looked like a gem of an idea, so I bought 3 of these, one for me and two more for family members...we'd all received the same digital camera as gifts, and this seemed a handy way to show the photos straight from the memory stick without lugging around a camera.
Well, received the devices, and put the memory stick in, but the photos were horribly distorted beyond recognition. Put the same stick back in the camera, just fine, took it to a Kodak kiosk, again just fine. Told this all to media gear, and they suggested I needed to "reformat" my memory stick. I obediently did and took a new picture..same problem...even though the stick showed a fine picture everywhere else.
I then asked if I could try out the other two I'd received without risking their returnability. They said they'd "get back to me" (well actually at first they said they couldn't send me more product...I think they must be outsourcing their customer service to non-english speaking countries!) I patiently explained again what I was asking, and they said they'd have to get back to me...be patient. That was two weeks ago. Still waiting. I will post any further developments. |
