Works for Me

I bought the Navman GPS3450 on Ebay to combine with second hand Ipaq 3955 pocket pc. Turns out I paid the same approx price as I could have gotten it from Amazon.Oh well, it was factory sealed and all the stuff was in the box. I installed the software and downloaded some maps in about 30 minutes. A test drive to lunch today shows it working pretty well. I was disappointed that there is no trip computer but otherwise it seems to work okay.
I also have a Garmin Streetpilot 2610 which I dearly love. But it was over $600 and has no internal battery. I plan to put this in the clear plastic pocket on my mc tank bag.
I think the Navman performance is adequate for the price paid. You don't get $1000 performance from a $140 item. |
