OCR capabilities never operated, technical support hard to locate

| The Epson Perfection 1670 Photo scanner is used as a pleasure tool in my hobby, Genealogy and Family History. Although Epson claims that the 1670 will do OCR scanning I never could get it to work, unlike prevous scanners I have used. My attempts to contact Epson Technical help have been very difficult, and when I did get an e-mail suggestion from Epson Connection, the answer did not in any way solve the problem. The previous reviews hit the operation exactly. This is a dawg! |
