The flip lock mechanism for the legs is easy to use and quick. I also bought the Bogen swivel/tilt head, which allows me to easily adjust the angle of the camera independent of the angle of the monopod. I used it recently on a trip to Arlington Cemetery. During the changing of the guard, I used a 200mm zoom lens to get close to the honor guard. The monopod gave me great stability and easy manuverability amoungst the gathered crowd of tourists. The resulting photos were outstanding in clarity. The monopod feels like it will last a lifetime. Well worth paying it bit more than the cheap Chinese knockoffs.   1     2   Non User
