Not even if you received it for present....

I've not bought from amazon.com the Genius D613 but as a periodic customer who is very satisfied with every product ive bought from amazon, i think amazon should not have this low quality products in its grid. I was expecting to buy a cheap camera with multifunction capabilities at a not excellent but acceptable quality. Let me say that this camera dont worth a dollar, battery consuming (average of only 30 pictures with flash with alkaline duracell batteries), bad flash (never take a nightshot wih this thing and it takes like 20 seconds to have the flash ready for another shot), daylight photos are horrible misstrouble colors, not intuitive menus, complicated configuration tools that you have to reconfigure every time you turn on again your camera (saturation).Your pulse should be like a tripod because if not every photo would look like you have parkinson (trembling) or something. Video mode does not capture audio (which what i was expecting for my uses)since almost all cameras with this specifications and price does capture audio. The USB speed its poor since its only 1.1 while almost all the others camera in the price range have USB 2.0, which counts at the time of using your camera as a webcam and transferring files.
After a short searching i found a lot of better options in the market with more capabilities at the same or even lower prices of other brands. But too late i have too say.
I ve never written a review but i thought that could be helpful for other people who buy something and receive this thing, i was expecting a better quality from a company with the reputation of genius.inc, which was the factor in the first place i choosen this camera from others alike.Sincerily, Im very dissapointed i have never had bad results with genius products, but they should reconsider this kind of products. |
