Best in Class - Long Lasting
|
OK, so it's a bulb. How does a bulb earn my best in class title? Simple: It works. It has long life and replacements are affordable.
Having said that, it is what it is. It is 500W. A great workhorse replacement for your small Lowel V-lights. It burns hot, like all tungsten lamps. This is the maximum wattage you can put in a V-light.
I used up only 3 or so replacements in the last 5 years of light video work (taking my V-light kit on maybe one or two gigs per month)
For more wattage and light output go with a Lowel Tota or DP light.
For more light output at a low wattage, go with either Kinos (or other studio florecents) or HMI lights. |
