great tripod!

bought with pro ball head with 621 release and after 1 week very happy...a little difficult to figure out at first and only one sheet of instructions that are not all that clear. but once i figured it out, it is very sturdy and amazingly adjustable. nice looking as well. find the wheel that sets the leg angle a little hard to turn. nice little tool kit with allen wrenches connects right to tripod.
like the 2 way pan/tilt head that is part of the model...fine for my use along with the ball head so no need to buy another or more expensive head.
imo it should be used with a weight on the hook end when used tilted with horizontal arm( recommended in the literature)as my kit ( about 6 lbs) wanted to pull it over while i was making adjustments( seemed fine once it was all set up but for security will get a sandbag type thing to use then)
nice case, large enough for additional monopod and head as well, nice strap on pod as well.
not sure it would really support 22 lbs but sure it would support at least 12-15 with no problem. |
