one of the best backpack styles i've tried

| have previously owned the north face, swiss army and ogio backpack styles. this one comes the closest to being the best of all worlds for me. not perfect, but is as compact as any of my previous ones and affords exponentially better protection. the sides are somewhat rigid, so the bag does not compress and smash the display against the keyboard. this makes the cargo room rather sparse, but the notebook is much safer. the front pockets will hold plenty of flat items (ipod, glasses, pens, cd's), but nothing with any real bulk. there is a nice pouch to hold the charger and there is ample space in the accessory pocket for a mouse, a few cords and other such small items. a few magazines or folders worth of documents will fir nicely in the main bay, but not much else. the cell phone and water bottle pouches on the outside of the bag work well, too. |
