♥♥♥♥♥ There is nothing wrong with the product itself...
There is nothing wrong with the product itself... but the last two reviewers are correct in saying there was some shady advertising by some 2nd party vendors. I search by UPC code when I know exactly what I want - in this case the code for the HP-56 Twin-pack is 829160251004 - and I was directed to this page as expected. I ordered one (twin-pack) from a vendor for $17 which was a bargain but I have gotten deals like that before so I didn't think it was "too good to be true."
What I eventually received was a single cartridge that was not even in original packing. I was pretty upset, but I followed the market place instructions and reported the fact it was materially different within seven days to the vendor. To their credit, they authorized the return AND refunded my expedited shipping. They have since corrected the ad and are one of the cheapest sellers on the list.
I don't think they were trying to be con artists. I think that there is a lot of competition amongst these guys, and when one tries to get a leg up by funky wording in the ad, they all follow suit for fear all the business will go to the guy who stretches the truth the most. In this case the average price for a single cartridge is about $17, so it wasn't a total rip-off, it just wasn't what I wanted.
Bottom line is contact the vendor first if anything looks shady, inspect the order as soon as it arrives, and abide by the market place rules and you will have recourse in the event you get a lemon.
