The phone has served me well. It is 2 years old and still running strong.

To the writers who objected to the lack of answering machine----this phone is compatible with voicemail systems. I have MCI Voicemail and the message indicator works fine.

Motorola has a similar model, the MD681, equipped with answering-machine capability.
