Mustek's Plug-n-Scan 600CP is compact easy-to-use scanner. The 600CP's modest profile of 16.4 by 11.1 by 2.5 inches and its light weight of 5.1 pounds is due to its compact image sensor (CIS) technology, which eliminates the need for a mirror, lens, and a separated light source. The Plug-n-Scan captures 300 x 600 dpi, 30-bit images from your originals, recognizing over 1 billion colors internally. It can enhance these images to 9,600 dpi and can save over 16 million colors, the maximum allowed by GIF or JPG file formats. The 600CP's enhanced parallel port permits a quick connection to your PC. Plus, if you're already using a parallel printer, you'll enjoy the convenience of the extra pass-through port to plug your printer into.Direct Scan and TextBridge software accompany the 600CP and make for a painless scanning process. No support, no compatability

| I tried to install the drivers to 3 computers with OS's ranging from Win 98 to XP. They would not work. The only support I was able to get from the manufacturer included driver downloads and emails with troubleshooting info. Neither of these helped. My scanner still does not work and I cannot get any tech support from Mustek. This scanner I purchased is virtually useless to me and I will probably return it. |
