My old camera used "AA" and I mean used them. I had to keep at least 12 spare batteries ready because after a few shots the batteries were dead. Also, it is light and doesn't take much space in my camera bag, compared to 12 "AA" batteries. So in comparison to them, this battery is great, in every feature. As compared to other batteries of the same kind, I cannot say how it compares. But for hours of shots with one battery, this is the one. Since it is still new, I don't know how long it will last.
