| We had hoped to be able to use the housing to protect an expensive digital camera while using it in our kayaks in salt water. The housing certainly did that. The problem was that in the above water zone the image on the LCD screen was virtually impossible to see, so you were shooting blind. We tried all kinds of settings to no avail. In any kind of light, we either got a reflection of our own face in the window or a totally unseeable image. With this case you do not have the option of using the viewfinder, so that didn't help. Ultimately, we returned the unit for refund. It probably would work very well underwater, except that you have to be sure to turn the flash off. |
