Works, but beware

| PNY claims that no drivers are needed for this reader to work with Windows XP. I tried both XP Home and Professional and the only way I could get the reader to work was to use the drivers on the CD. The only reason I give this product three stars is due to the frustration of trying to figure out what was wrong and the fact that PNY's support site incorrectly states that drivers aren't necessary for XP. On a side note, I can plug in and mount the reader as a SCSI drive (/dev/sda1) in Linux with no problems. |
