♥♥♥♥♥ fx-30 review
I have had the FX-30 for about 6 weeks now. I also have a DSLR for serious photos, but sometimes that is a bit big, so the Panny lives in my back pack.

the good:
picture quality - excellent - nothing more to say
size - tiny. My girlfriend has a FX07 (also superb) which is the same height and width but a bit fatter
price - For under $200 this is a bargain (it was under $200 when I purchased)
build quality - materials are the same as the 18 mth old FX07 - still looks as good as new. One thing, the black material does scratch - if it does then you can draw it in with a black pen and you cant tell (sounds odd but if you own one you will know what i mean).

the bad:
nothing that i can see as of yet.

other points:
I bought a cheap 2gb kingston card - not recommended - VERY slow. will be upgrading to a sandisk Extreme 3 (as i have in the SLR) MUCH better cards.

I bought a semi-hard case from circuit city - highly advised - fits great with spare battery.

spare battery - from amazon (the 3rd party one) advised purchase.

amazon pricing - when i purchased all colours were about $160. now it seems to vary daily.

amazon delivery - despite allbeing stated as in stock they weren't. delivery was slow.

otherwise a recommended purchase!!
