| With the G7 i get very little out of this lens really. You need to put an adapter ring on it so it locks in place. This place is fixed and does not move with the zoom in and out and that is where the problem lies . You zoom out and get black round edges from the adapter ring. In order to avoid this , I hold this lens directly in front of the camera without the adapter ring . I get a much better wide angel and no black edges. In zoom in postion there is no advantage the G7 has a great lens .. I would go for a .5 wide angle . Check lensemateonline test results. and raynox japan, even though they do not report the problem I mentioned here. |
