What a Nightmare!!

| I'm a big seller on ebay and this product is a must for me to take more attracting pictures for my ebay items. I order this item after a few weeks of researching for the best brand, plus the buyer offers a bonus of 2 extra bulbs with the set which I think is a realy good deal. The item came in at a reasonable time. We set it up immediately, we turned on the first bulb and this weird flickering sound started and the bulb kept flashing, we couldn't get a steady light out of it, then a smoke came out from the top and that's it.. we turned it off. We then turned on the second set, the bulb just popped right away and died. I might have had a bad light bulbs from the seller or they might have been damaged during shipping but I can't believe that this giant heavy bulb can be that fragile, though I don't like the way that this heavy bulb is hanging on the socket without any support (I don't think the socket can handle the bulb well). Anyway so I email the seller and told them of the problem AND I ask what happened to the bonus extra bulb. They email me back that if I can deal with the damage they will give me 20% credit BUT no mention of the extra bulb. I don't want a credit, I want a replacement for the defective parts so I continue corresponding with them but I get confused, they said UPS will pick it up and on other email I have to ship it to them AND STILL no mention of the extra bulbs. I just gave up and file a claim at Amazon. Unfortunately I have to ship this 20-lb package to the seller with signature delivery confirmation at my own expense. I don't have a choice but you do, think twice before buying this product ESPECIALLY from this seller. |
