| I bought this camera for my daughter for Christmas. I looked at quite a few. I can tell you that this camera takes excellent pictures, has a real nice large display, a nice look and a nice grip/feel to it. ALL the benefits are completely obliterated by the fact that the camera ABSOLUTELY DEVOURS batteries like there's no tomorrow. Buy this camera if you dare but be prepared to "babysit" the batteries for the rest of the cameras life. . The batteries will die UNBELIEVEABLY QUICKLY, predictably and consistently. This fact cannot be underestimated enough. It was a bad investment. To make matters worse, you get a short little abreviated user manual in the box while the website has a complete owners manual detailing every aspect of the camera. I called customer service and the wanted to charge me $20.00 for the book. Another raw deal! |
