Very good lens for the price

| This is a very good lens for the price. Its wide angle characteristics are expecially well suited to landscapes and architectural shots where buildings or large sculpture would otherwise be difficult to fit in the frame. It is sharp, fast and at the reduced price from Cameda / Amazon, a bargain. I strongly recommend this lens to round out a collection which should include a good primary and a quality telephoto zoom. My only gripe, and why it does not get a fifth star, is the lens cap is useless if you want to use a filter. Also, you will want to use the supplied petal hood to avoid flaring at certain frontal or oblique lighting angles or when the on-camera flash is used. |
