| Much has been written in terms of reviewing this wonderful piece of cinematography. One thing folks viewing this film should realize is that the underlying book was influenced by the writings of Christian Mystic Emmanuel Swedenborg, whose " Heaven and Hell" depicted conditions in the discarnate state in ways which have been interpreted by this movie. His writings have influenced spiritual thinkers for hundreds of years, and, IMHO merit your examination if you felt moved by the film. In any case, this film should not be lightly dismissed as a modern day special effects fantasy, but as a serious testament to the revelation of conditions existing in the discarnate state. True seekers might do well to examine this further and use the movie as a key to further enlightenment. | |
