| This is one of those films that because of the importance of the subject matter,not to mention 2 of the greatest actors ever Lancaster and Ryan, giving the scenario of wealthy industrialists taking out JFK as depicted some authority, is better than the movie really is. I saw this one about 15 years ago and the production values and the way it was made- it looks like a tv episode from the early 70's and in no way can compare with the brilliantly photographed recreations in Stone's JFK. But, i'm glad it is finally coming on DVD, also as part of the Burt Lancaster Signature collection. | |
