| Great idea (large rats eat people on a college campus), bad execution (the microphone is visible three times in the first 30 minutes), still compared to some of the other rat turds floating around out there FotG2 is a classic. RATS - NIGHT OF TERROR, THE RATS (2002) and KILLER RATS are some of the stinkier ones I've sat through recently. RATS (2002) did feature Kim Poirier topless briefly, so that was nice.
If you've seen the original FOOD OF THE GODS or any other movies with the similar theme (EMPIRE OF THE ANTS, ALLIGATOR, NIGHT OF THE LEPUS) then you know what to expect...and that's exactly what you get. The scene with the white rat was sad though. I would have gone to jail for beating that cop's ass. |
