| ♥♥♥♥♥ | Favorite "balanced" Romantic comedy ever. |
| This movie is probably my favorite romantic comedy ever made. It doesn't get old upon re-watching it 10, 20, 50 times. Probably because of the time-lapses in the plot which allows for tons of great seasonal scenery of New York, and the historical accuracy of the periods throughout the decade+ duration of the film.
Ultimately, it's the off and on friendship turning into something more that is undeniably beautiful. I've tried to find other movies in this category, but there just aren't many. I'm not sure how this film will hold up in 50 years, but I know that when I'm 80, I'll still watch this movie a few times every year and dream. |
