| When this was released the fall of 2003 I had great expectations because of how much I enjoyed Pirates of the Caribbean The Curse of the Black Pearl" that was released the same year.
I was let down. Have always loved "The Haunted Mansion" attraction at Disneyland. Eddie Murphy doing his usual role of a smart alec, pushy guy. Did not care about his character nor the kids. Madam Leota if you are expecting an eerie vision from the attraction you will be disappointed. Jennifer Tilly just repeated some of the lines from the attraction. The special effects were great. They did nothing with the characters & how much can a person take of Eddie Murphy doing the same old thing? |
