| This edition particularly without any doubt the best and finest ever DVD release, most noticeably is the booklet comes with it, it is luxury fill with many rich picture take from the movie, it is perfect suite for Cinema fans really. I was really hoped for a certain movies to be released in this fashion like Star Wars, Star Trek and Indiana jones. But the most unique thing in my opinion is the sound dub, this edition has Mono 2 channel dub which I believe it is same 1975 and Betamex first release, what special thing about this (many ignore) the sound blend perfectly with movie that released in 1975, plus it has many sound effects which has been delete it from new DD and DTS masters. The problem with new mix DD and DTS it has mixed old sound recording with new added ones, plus the music itself look like enhanced by new equipment recording recently, so all of them are mixed together which frankly sometimes you get lost when exactly this movie is made??? The new DD and DTS masters are perfect for 5-channel surround sound only, but the sound appeared just normal commercial soundtrack nothing special I believe. If you like listen the way this movie won Oscar for sound recording in 1975 us only mono dub, I was hoping Mr, Speilberg to release old sound dub but enhanced in certain way by new equipment, like adding more low frequency perhaps.
