| This movie is terrible. It's not funny. Anthony Michael Hall was not meant to play a cool jock. It just wasn't believable, especially after The Breakfast Club. This was Uma Thurman's first movie and she was very cute, but that's about the only positive thing i can say about this movie.
The premise behind the movie is alright. A star high-school quarterback finishing high school looking to go to college. He's got a girlfriend, a best friend, a coach who is trying to bank off of him, and he's constanly being followed by college boosters trying to convince him to go to their school. There is no decent dialogue. The acting is horrible and i must reiterate this MOVIE IS NOT FUNNY! It is corny. |
