Tragic...Moving...Love Story
|
Leaving Las Vegas is a terrific tragic story. Nicolas Cage and Elisabeth Shue play their parts extraordinary. A truly remarkable film.
Ban Sanderson (Cage) drinks. He drinks a lot. And after losing everything he heads to Vegas to drink himself to death. Elisabeth Shue plays a prostitute who falls for him. These two stories are quite disturbing, depressing, and tragic.
The only problem I had was the cheesy Vegas music. It fits into the story, but it's really grating. It could be because the musci was LOUD while the dialog was soft, but it really got on my nerves.
Other than the sound issue, there's not much to talk about the DVD. It's the unrated edition.
Highly recommended. |
