| first off: why does everyone think this is Led Zeppelin? IT'S NOT! Perhaps the reason John Paul Jones wasn't asked to join in was due to the fact that his inclusion would cause world-wide hailings of a Led Zeppelin reunion, which this IS NOT. sure, having Jones along would not necessarily make this a performance of Led Zeppelin (that can never happen, Zeppelin is comprised solely of Page, Plant, Jones and Bonham, and nobody else), but the rabid attention of the press and fans would cause the whole thing to be misconstrued into something it wasn't. With that being said, this performance by PAGE & PLANT is superb. | |
