Great Anime

Definitely the best Swords and Sorcery animated series/film that I'VE ever seen. Although I do agree with most of the small criticisms others had about the characters being fairly stereotypical, I think that these stereotypical characters were never executed so well (at least in animation). As far as the cut corners in the animation go, they were annoying, but didn't happen too often. Only in maybe episode 12 were they super noticeable and the fact is, is that this is one of, the if not the best, most well animated series in the genre.
It's too bad the previews for the sequel to this, "The Chronicles of the Heroic Knight" look so bad.
If you like fantasy though, this one is a good buy. |
