For beginners this workout will probably be a challenge (as all Billy's workouts) You definitely need to know the moves to avoid injuring yourself as Billy gives no instruction on how to do them. However, you will be able to catch on to the moves if you take it slowly a few times through. The reason I like this workout is because Billy rotates between upper body, lower body, and abs. None of the moves are difficult and if you have done Tae Bo before, the moves are basically the same. You will definitely feel the benefits of this workout if you do it regularly. The warm up in this workout is shorter than usual and there is virtually no cool down other than some Tai Chi moves Billy always does at the end of his workouts.
For intermediate or advanced users, this workout is not really challenging if you have done Tae Bo before. As I said, I like it because of the workout rotation between body parts. I own about 20 Tae Bo workouts, and I like to throw this one in once in a while because of its variety. However, it is relatively easy if you are in good shape and even though it keeps your heart rate elevated, I don't feel like I'm getting a real intense workout. |
