| Everyone pretty much agrees that Goodfellas is a classic. No question there. I could only give the HD-DVD three stars though. The video is almost identical to the standard definition version, and the sound quality is nothing to write home about either. The colors were muted and lacked any clarity or "pop" that I look for in HD releases. Even though this is a great piece of film making, I would have been better off buying the standard def version. | |
