She Gives Me Fever

| This may not be Madonna's best tour, (after all, at that time how could she top Blond Ambition?) but The Girlie Show was certainly full of eye popping routines. My favorite performance is Fever, she really gets into it and looks amazing in her short boyish haircut. But even though this tour had great songs and scenery, my favorite thing about the Girlie Show is that Madonna is a non stop smiling machine. She is known for being a tough diva, and if you see any other tour it takes alot for her to crack a smile. Perhaps the vibe was amazing on this tour, after all the tour had "Erotica" and Sex Book undertones,not to mention she was touring in cities she had never toured before. Madonna is simply gorgeous in this tour. She practically glows in all of her songs. Just watch "Rain" "Fever" "Erotica" - and especially "La Isla Bonita". The energy as she's being levitated as she sings the chorus takes my breath away. Fun Fact; Cary Ann Inaba from Dancing With The Stars is the one who opens the show by coming down the pole. |
