| Reading the previous review of Open Hearts it is clear to me that the person clearly did not get this movie. One thing might be right, that it is not the best dogme movie I have seen, but the subject matter, the acting, the directing are all sublime. It is easy to see why it was was chosen the Danish Oscar entry this year and why it has been seen by over 500.000 people. It is clearly one of my favorite movies this year. It is raw, it is brutal and disgustingly honest. Being a man I am ashamed that we as male creatures will follow our lust rather than using logic and following our heart. The way this is portrayed in this film can hardly be done better. Mads Mikkelsen lies with such conviction that it actually made me sick to my stomach. Whether this is my bad conscinece or it is something deeply rooted within us as male creatures I do not know! But it is so brutally honest. Please see this movie and judge for yourself.
