Very good DVD!

| WWE Confidential ran for 2 years before being canned, this dvd covers the first year of the show, which was really the only time the show was any good anyway, and features some very good stories. The Stone Cold Steve Austin segment which covers his sudden departure after creative differences with the company is worth the price of the dvd by itself. There is also a very good segment on Eric Bischoff's WWE debut. There is however alot of filler, as was the case with the show most of the time such as pointless segments on Trish Stratus, William Regal, and Booker T., probabaly because after the first 3 or 4 months the show stopped doing alot of backstage "news" due to WWE not wanting alot of the wrestlers to break character. Overall though it is worth checking out for the stories on Austin, Bischoff, and The death of WCW. Also the dvd features the complete Survivor Series "97" Bret Hart- Shawn Michaels match. |
