| This movie is the ultimate 80's guilty pleasure musical! Where else could you possibly get rollerskating muses, Solid Gold dancers, AND a trumpet playing, tap dancing Gene Kelly? Xanadu is simply pure fun! The music, the hair, the clothes are all wonderful throw backs to that time right at the end of the "disco" party and before the huge shoulder pads of the 80's really took over. When girls (and guys) rollerskating through the park in too tight, too short shorts seemed absolutely perfect! You just can't help but love it! |
