| Firstly, I'd like to say I LOVE this series. The characters are well written, the story is fascinating, and the art (for its time) was drawn well. However, I gave this four stars for only one reason: the main character. If the main character (Miaka) was somehow written out of the story, I'd give this a total of 5, but as long as the story follows the adventures of a whiny, ridiculously emotional 15 year old girl who feels the need to break up with Tamahome (main love interest) every five episodes, only to get back with him again, I can't. I would strongly suggest buying it, though, because aside from the main character, the rest of the supporting cast is phenomenal. They make it worth the money. |
