♥♥♥♥♥ There's only one thing wrong with the Davis baby.....It's alive!!!.
In my opinion I thought that the whole trilogy was a waste of time but since I heard that they were going to re-make the first film I decided to re-watch the whole trilogy to see if it was any good since it has been a long time and I remember being creeped out by those mutant babies when I was a kid. I have just realised that these films are just not good at all in fact they just look very dated and laughable and I wasn't really that impressed with the cheap special fx. The first film may have a few good parts but thats not saying much since it still looks like a boring and cheap horror flick with little blood and no gore, Frank and Lenora Davis are expecting the birth of their second child. As Frank waits in the waiting room Lenora is experiencing the miracle of birth NOT! Instead of a beautiful baby boy she has given birth to a horrendous mutated baby that craves blood, some parts during the beginning of the film with the music were actually good especially that delivery room scene I remember watching this film on T.V. when I was younger and I actually liked it back then, anyway the film quickly went downhill as that laughable mutant baby starts killing people and it had an ugly scream that it kept making. The sequel was definitely a stinker I'm not going to mention the plot cause it was almost the same as the first one and I thought why did they even bother, the third film atleast had a different plot this time the babies have multiplied at an alarming rate and so they are sent to a secluded island to live peacefully away from humans until an idiot who misses his son goes there to bring them all back yet another rubbish sequel I usually like bad low budget horror films cause sometimes you could find something that would be odd or very strange like the Basket Case trilogy yet still seem very enjoyable however I could not enjoy any of these films. The three films were directed and written by Larry Cohen who also made Q The Winged Serpent which is a much better film and I suggest that horror fans check that out instead of this awful mess, I'm actually looking forward to the re-make just to see how it turns out (I can't believe I just said that and I'm the type of person who hates re-makes oh well).
