Arthur Writes a Story description
This funny episode finds Arthur struggling with a school assignment requiring him to write his life story. Trouble is, he thinks there isn't that much to say, so he uses a little artistic license. But when invisible elephants and trips to outer space somehow become details in his autobiography, he has to figure out where he blurred the line between fact and fiction. Also on this tape is "Locked in the Library," one of the best from the series and a story of what happens when Arthur insults Francine and then accidentally gets locked in a library with her at night. --Tom Keogh

♥♥♥♥♥ Aurthur Writes A Story [1996]
This great episode is about Aurthur needing to write a story on his life and he chooses to write about his dog Pal. His pesky sister D.W. thinks it would be too boring and now Arthur is afraid he's really boring so he starts getting ideas from his friends on how he can twist his story around. He turns it around to Pal being a elphanet when he was born, he turns it into a country song, Pal being born in space etc. But he learns that the first and real story he wrote is the best and so does his teacher Mr.Ratburn. This episode is really funny and teaches you to never streach the truth.
