♥♥♥♥ Great Instruction for Beginners-- Pretty Decent buy for Intermediate Exercisers...
This is a good workout --

Pick your Spot Pilates (The purple one):
easier than what I usually use. I do believe that is because I was frequently moving between positions (My only complaint, which lost this item 1 star) I've been doing pilates for Years -- and I think this is a great place to start if you're new to pilates.

This DVD will stretch and tone your muscles--- Give you a decent workout-- You will most likely feel/have moderate muscle fatigue during/after the workout if you follow it from beginning to end. The instructor gives Very Detailed decriptions of the moves (verbally and visually) -- There are also easier poses for newbies.

It's worth a try*

Crunch Burn and Firm Pilates (Blue One):
Same Instructor, Ellen -- Who is spectacular. Her cuing is always right on. The music is upbeat. This workout was nice. It reminded me of ballet a lot because the moves were graceful-- there were a lot of leg lifts-- Mambo-- Plie squats with graceful arms. Ellen was tons of fun in this one* My heart rate went up. Great workout. To increase the intensity of the workout, you can use handweights. I believe ellen recommended 3lbs.

Fat Burning Pilates:
Ellen again! I found this one to be really similar to the fat burning pilates-- I liked the other one more just becasue the music kept me so excited and able to feel "dancy" (in a purely exercise way). I still enjoyed this workout just the same. And again, Ellens cues were right on. Similar to all of her DVDs, she explained a lot about what each move does for your body.. sometimes shed mention that the moves she was doing imitated the moves you would do on a pilates machine.
