| My mother-in-law purchased this video (and volume 2) for my 3 yr. old son and it quickly became one of his favorites. Unfortunately, the tape we received had a very annoying, crackly static noise throughout the whole thing. While it didn't bother my son in the slightest, it gave the rest of us a headache (Volume 2 was fine, however). I looked up the company's website and got their customer service number and called about getting a replacement. Skip, their customer service guy, called me back right away and kept following up until he reached me. He took my and address and immediately sent out a new, flawless copy of the tape. My son watches these tapes regularly and seems to really like knowing how the various hoses and pumps connect together and work (and is now very excited to be able to point out firefighting equipment he sees in commercial buildings); and I can't help but appreciate the fire safety they teach throughout the videos. Volume 2 features "Maggie the Firedog", much to my son's delight. Our poor, patient dalmatian now gets renamed "Maggie" for days at a time. This isn't something I would have normally purchased myself, but it's been a great gift! |
