| While this film wasn't brilliantly shot or written, I really felt the themes addressed in it were provocative and convincing. The plot stumbles all around the many ways we love people, how it's not always apparent how love can manifest, and how love just happens, regardless of bits, orientations, or situations. The quest of the two main characters is fairly predictable, though it meandered offroad quite a lot in the middle. Ultimately it's not a tidy ending, but it's the one that is right for these people. In that light I am interested in seeing other of Todd Stephens' work. |
