Outstanding episodes

Two of the finest hours in Little House history. The two hour special begings with Mary slowly going blind and the town of Walnut Grove in grave danger. Charles must bring a broken hearted Mary to a blind school. Little does Mary know that her new life has just begun. She enters a dark new world, but comes out seeing life in a new light. Her teacher, Adam Kendall, at the school shows her how to see with her hands, as well as with her heart. He opens her eyes and teachs her not to feel sorry for herself just because she can not see.
It's about closing your eyes and finally being able to see. Mary's dreams of becoming a teacher and finding real love finally come true.
Melissa Sue Anderson gives a stand out performance. |
