Not really what I expected
|
I'm giving this a three star solely because it's the word of God and I don't want him to strike me dead. Here is why:
1) I was following along in my KJV and twice I noticed the speaker misread the bible, i.e. he missed a word. It was plain to see because I could hear the scripture and read the scripture on the screen.
2) It would have been better for the voice of Jesus to have had a different, distinct voice actor in order to separate Jesus' words from the rest.
3) In honesty, especially in Revelations I expected sound effects, dramatic music, and maybe even some feeling in the voice's, but it wasn't there. I used to own the KJV on tape cassette and I don't remember the company's name but it had all the above I was speaking of.
4) Call me a fundamentalist or just call me crazy but there was a random picture of Mary (Jesus' mother) being crowned "Queen of Heaven." I'm not Catholic and I don't believe in that kind of thing so why would they put something that protestants have opposed for so long? |
