Risky Safety

This is a really cute show, that is very entertaining. It's true that it is sort of aimed at the younger audience, but it still can be quite entertaining for adults and teens.
It has really good animation, really smooth in my opinion, and a beautiful ending song by Maaya Sakamoto.
The story is about a girl name Moe (pronounced "Moh-ay"), who is very sad because she thinks that her boyfriend betrayed her. Her sadness summons the miniature apprentice shinigami (a Japanese spirit of death) named Risky. Risky tries to steal Moe's soul, but quickly turns into Safety, an apprentice angel, who's job is to make Moe happy. Besides Moe's story, there's the story of Fazzy, a young girl who's father spends all his time making lifelike dolls, which he does to make people happy. But Fazzy is sad because her father never comes out or does anything with her. It's up to Safety to cheer Fazzy up before Risky tries to steal her soul.
It may seem kinda cutesy, but it's mostly the little angel Safety who adds most of the cuteness. Risky is a fiesty, and even sarcastic little shinigami who adds humor to the tale.
I would definetly recommend this anime to anyone, it is completly enjoyable, and well worth your money. |
