An excellent beginning

| I would definitely recommend this DVD to beginning keyboard players. In about 50 minutes, it shows you how to play and accompany yourself simply with a few basic chords. Dan Huckabee takes the new player through his paces one step at a time, making it easy and fun. He does stress that you will need to practice what he has shown you in this first hour. He bypasses the whole note reading thing in this DVD because it is not really necessary. He really strips away the complexities and shows the new player how to do it simply, and why. This is by no means the full regalia of rhythm piano, but it is what it says it is: Beginning Rhythm Piano, Volume 1. Volume 2 will present more tricks, but this definitely covers the basics. |
