| Being a long time Edward Norton fan, and an admirer of how great films are put together, I liked "Down In The Valley" a lot. But there's an inconsistency near the end of the film.
Harlan is wearing a goatee when he lights a torch in the dark just before the final gunfights begin. A short time later his goatee is no longer there. Are we supposed to believe he takes time to shave it off for some reason between moments of being shot at? It's still a great film with a beautiful way of contrasting the old and new west. [..] |
