Sara whoops it up on video

| I like the sound of Sara s voice, it s strong and soulful and quite different - in a good way - from other country singers. And since it s impossible to get to watch her on TV in Europe(except for the occational CMA coverage, where she s made stellar appearances in the past)I enjoyed this opportunity to watch her videos. No technical problems with this DVD as far as I can tell. I just wish there were more videos - not that those that are here aren t good, though. The best ones are Real Fine Place, Couldn t Ask for More and Suds in the Bucket. She s chosen such beautiful locatoins for the first two and the last one is hilarious, a wildly overdone (I think? it must be!)collage of life down South, complete with hellfire and brimstone - preachers and the biddies in the local beauty shop gossiping about the wild and reckless love life of the girl in the song. Sara appears to be having a great deal of fun throughout and to be singing from her heart. She is a remarkable artist and I wish her a long and prosperous career. |
