The First Worlds War

This is an excellent series and I fully recommend buying it. Whether you are a casual military history person or a serious world war one scholar, this series is not to be missed. The video footages presented here are not just the same old recycled videos from previous documentaries. The film footage here is fresh and poignant.
The series is organized in a somehwat chronological order though the series may be viewed out of sequence. The maps presented are quite good and appear as well to be original. After viewing this you will come away with a better understanding of the war and you will see why so many historians acknowledge it as the seminal event of the 20th century. |
